Greg you can buy key limes in the store. They are usually sold in small net bags. You can get fresh seeds out of those fruit. - Millet

im been looking in the store for key limes cant find them ... i have seen bags of small lime but that dont say key lime ther bigger then a golf ball and small then a tennis ball... so i dont thing there key limes ...when do thay get ripe??? remember up here we dont a large mix of citrus you guys get.... the last time i was in the store it had 3 rows of bags oranges 1 row of bags lemons and 1 row of bags limes... that at a big store .... but will keep a eye out for them ....

thank for the offer but all im looking is a fue seeds someone on here must have a key like tree...i cood get one on ebay for less then 20 but dont need to get greening thing.... or some other funk from Florida

Only about or 7 key limes come in a bag. The price is only a couple bucks. If you change your mind let me know, and I will pick you up a bag. It really is no trouble for me, as I go to the supermarket once a week anyway. - Millet

just got back from the store ... thay had Mexican lime that were smaller then the other lime but bigger then a golf ball and did not say key lime on the bag.... i look it over.... are Mexican lime the same as keylime???

Greg the answer to your question is YES. Mexican Lime is the very same thing as a Key Lime. Just two names for the same product. Go ahead and buy them and plant yourself a Key Lime tree. It should fruit as soon as the second year. - Thanks for being a member of this forum. - Millet
