Prunus brigantina (alpine apricot)
« on: November 15, 2017, 06:58:37 AM »
Hello, has anyone grown Prunus brigantina (Brianšon apricot/marmot plum/alpine aprico)? It's the only apricot-like wild species native to Europe.
Is it worth growing it? What does it taste like? Is there much difference to a regular apricot tree (especially taste-wise)? Where to get seeds of it?

Would love to hear if someone has experience growing this tree.
