Orange spots in dragonfruit
« on: November 21, 2017, 12:57:04 PM »
Does anybody know what causes these orange spots in dragonfruit? They appear recently in these seedlings and in an adult plant nearby.

I had some popping up on one of my df vines. Sprayed some Garden Safe Fungicide 3 and seem to be doing fine.

Common problem with cactus.  It can be treated, but won't ever heal back to green.  I often use a sulphur type powder and mix with water and spray.  Personally, I cut it all out Nd throw them away.  If you can spare them, general rule with cactus is cut it out with prejudice and allow to heal and dry. Avoid cutting in rain, low light or extreme humidity.

Thank you all for the answers. It seems a winter problem here, and cupper oxyclorure seems to keep it under control so far.
