Grafted Echo Jackfruit Tree
« on: November 29, 2017, 08:37:42 AM »
Does anyone know anything about the 'Echo' variety? I think Hopkins is grafting them. I saw some trees at the Mustang Flea Market and was curious.

I have a tree. So far, it has been a good fruit but not excellent. My tree is still young so it may improve. Last year my tree had about 5 or 6 small (under 15lbs) fruit. This year only 2 fruit, one was over 25lbs but it spoiled when we had 14 inches of rain in 3 days. The other was small and I missed it and it got overripe on the tree.

Thanks! That is all I needed to know. There are so many promising new seedling genetics floating around the forum he past couple years these  grafted varieties have to be damn good. Has anyone seen any J-35 seedlings in Florida?
