I assume they are selling their new release exclusively at the mango festival.I wonder how long it's going to take before the show up at the normal nurseries?
That's a good question. She did not have any casturi trees ready when I was there a couple of months ago. Asked about scions via email, waiting for a reply. The hard part might be her finding the time to cut scions and send out, as she is basically running Fairchild Farm by herself and maybe a helper or 2.
I don't think they let people work on the farm. I could be wrong though. I think you have to be an actual intern through Fairchild.
There was some talk of the HTFG doing a bulk order of these hybrids from Fairchild. Probably need to remind Ken Love and Axel Kratel to contact Noris. We'd love to try going these on the Hamakua coast where mangos are a real tough grow.
