Has anyone tried growing Gaylussacia angustifolia at low altitude? Or any other brazilian Gaylussacia? like G. brasliiensis?

I have a feeling they might be tricky to grow in FL, or else we'd already have some enthusiasts...but the story of the real peanut butter fruit (B. argentea) makes me cautiously optimistic.  ;D
