I like the smell of the Cherimoya (it smells just like it tastes), citrus, and coffee. The one I don't like is the Pitaya flower.
There are many bad smelling flowers and fungi which attract flies and carrion beetles. Of the stinkhorn fungi the bridal veil can really raise the roof. Some lilies are rancid with carrion odours especially night flowering types. Some melaleuca and terminalias have offensive and lingering dog mat stenches.Durian has an alluring bouquet that wafts over great distances. Guavas, kuini and chempadek have bright fruity fragrances. I wouldn't know where to start with nice flowers.
Wait till you have a Mexican Garcinia in full flower ... can smell it from far away....like somebody dropped a bottle of perfume .
