I have Annona reticulata ’San Pablo’ in bloom. Can anyone tell me about this variety? How tasty is it?
Thanks.

It’s fantastic. Blows all other custard apples away by far IMO

Thanks Johnny R.
Will San Pablo set fruit on its own? Or hand pollination is necessary for good production?

San Pablo is really good.  And I believe it's self-fertile.

San Pablo is an excellent reticulata much better then Fernandez. Large fruit very creamy and sweet. I will have reticulata budwood available in late august during my semi annual anona scion sale of superior reds and yellow from Yucatán.

Hi Bruce  and Birn, I do not have a name, I had  the 1 Tree for over 20 years, the other 3 Trees for about 15 yrs.  My first Tree has been taken down to the ground by Freezes 3-4 times and it always comes back. Mike over at Down Under name them the Carcarlo, after my forum name.
