If I remember correctly, Bobby B. hypothesizes in a truly tropical video that the male trees have more pointed leaves and the female leaves are more round.
You remember correctly. He does indeed say that. Considering the size and scope of his Garcinia collection, I certainly trust his expertise on the matter. It means that I have a male Imbe. Of course, even with one plant I (or anyone else with only a male plant) could get lucky and get some fruit. Adam Shafran has only one Imbe, a male, that also produces a small number of female flowers. If I remember correctly from one of his many videos, he talked about how it is common for male Imbes to produce a small number of female flowers but that female plants never produce male flowers.
Will the females still set fruit with no male pollination?
I am curious to see this video, do you have a link?
I have few large seedlings, it would be good to compare. I am seeing mix of leaves some are slimmer than others and some more pointed within the same tree/trees:

Deanhooper, if you like Thai Dwarf, here's some photos of my Thai Dwarf tree I took today, it has lots and lots and lots of fruits. So many fruits that it is hard to keep up with picking the ripe fruits to give away to the neighbors.
