Post by: murahilin on February 21, 2012, 09:51:49 AM
I found this Annona monograph last night. It has a ton of info. If you like it, don't bookmark it, download the PDF in case the site its hosted on ever removes it.

But now I know why older generation hates computers!  Reading a dam book online is hell, compared to actually having a real book in hand. :'(

If you get an ebook reader (not an ipad) with an e-ink screen it is much easier to read than from a computer screen. Eink does not have a backlit display to tire your eyes, nor is there nearly as many problems with glare. The only problem with the eink kindle is that is does not support the open source epub format as yet while the Sony ereader and the Nook do. The kindle fire supports epub but it is not eink. Also, ebook readers have battery lifespans of days or weeks before needing charging again.
