Brasilian post is also very slow. 4 months to get some seeds! The seeds were useless

Yes I can related to your pain.  The annona I bought for breeding arrive five month ago three months late.  I thought seeds were total losses but four pop out today during our cold snap month while the rest of them were kaput.  Nevertheless  i am still happy about this cold strain of Tropical that not supposed to survived my zone pushing.  Don't throw seeds away who know it could sprout when I am about give up and throw it in the compost bin annona I have bought from this Venuezeula  Seller!😫🌴

If the seeds are perishable no chance to spoud them after 4 months on the way. I am not sure if the annona seeds are so, maybe not.

Not necessarily if they sprout in transit they may survive. About a month ago I recieved jaboticaba ponheema seeds as well as cherry of the rio grande that were sent last September! many survived.
Many recalcitrant seeds take months to sprout and if they dont dry out you still have a chance. Iv been suprised by lost causes before that i just shove in an already occupied pot just in case.

Since she has not responded to private messages I have no problem bringing this into the open. I waited since September for seeds and just got the package two weeks ago. Seeds were seized by Customs so all I got was an empty package.

Sadly anything coming out of Dominican Republic, Venuezeula have been seized even with permits, you are lucky someone at APHIS took the time out of their government schedule and send you a valentine.💌😹

On condition that the moist medium is of good quality, otherwise molding occurs during the transit time

Lilith,
many thanks for thorough and accurate seeds packaging.
The shipment was so long, but it is not your fault.  ;)
I think the seeds still have some viability.
The red globose fruit Annona seeds is not Annona cornifolia. Seeds very differ.
Probably new unclassified Annona sp.

After 4 months on way and 1 month in the ground, annona jahnii seeds are sprouting, they are really classic annona tough guys.  8)

BTW: Alex, here is one annona which slightly resembles annona cornifolia, it is annona nutans.

Lilith,
My Manirito de Agua three seedlings push first true leaves and doing well. Images coming soon.
I hope on the same success with A. jahnii and Duguetia.

Rado,
congrats for A. jahnii germinating and this news give us more hopes! :)
Yes, A. nutans also looks close to A. cornifolia and Annona sp. "Manirito de Agua" but geographical gap "Paraguay-Venezuela" is so big... Still suspect some relativity with A. globiflora.

This is Manirito de Agua seedlings and this isn't A. cornifolia because they raised seeds above the ground during germinating, opposite A. cornifolia seed stay in ground, push root and germ.

Lilith,
may I post yours photo of the plant with fruit and we can discuss ID?
