ID please - possibly G. schomburgkiana?

bluemoon:
Hello, I'm new to this forum.
I have bought seeds that supposed to be garcinia schomburgkiana (madan) about six months ago. Now the plants in my opinion don't really look like garcinia at all.
They are growing relatively fast, at least for a garcinia I'd say. Also the leaves are not directly opposed and somehow imo don't look glossy enough.
On the other hand the seeds are from a renowned seller that is normally trustworthy.
I tried to find pictures of young plants online but those that I found don't look like my plant does.
So I wanted to ask if anybody in this forum can help identify this plant.

I agree, don't think that is a garcinia
bluemoon:
Hello roblack and thanks for your reply.
I've contacted the seller of the seeds and asked for the plants id and am currently waiting for a reply.
Maybe they can shed some light on it ...
bluemoon:
Hello,
it has taken a while, but the seller has finally answered.
The misidentified plant seems to be Elaecarpus hygrophilus.
They have also sent me some seeds of Garcinia schomburgkiana (the right ones this time ;D), so maybe I can post some pictures of it here in the future :)

G.schomburgkiana seeds are very thin, about 2'' long and curved like a sword.
