Flowers of Poncirus
« on: March 06, 2018, 04:57:07 PM »
Just one question to the experts: One can often read about the fragrance of PT-flowers but I have never come across sweet smelling flowers. What are your experiences? And one more question to the few that know or own Swamp Lemon: How about its flowers?

No, usually it does not have any smell, but when days are hot and in a full flower, you can percept a very  faint perfume.
Nothing to have with citrus fragrance,   resembling more an old candy box  ;D

I have read that too and I have always wondered whether perhaps there was something wrong with my olfactory sense ;D

All the poncyrus I've smelled have no fragrance.
