Syzygium caryophyllatum can anyone confirm?

I got seeds of Syzygium caryophyllatum a few years ago and have always thought this was the lone survivor but I've seen lots of species look similar so I always have this doubt. Can anyone confirm this as Syzygium caryophyllatum or have i been duped and caring for a privet last 2 or so years
