Hey are you going to be open tomorrow?
Alex, in your mango descriptions (very cool and helpful btw!) you mention nitrogen can affect the amount of fiber in a Madame Francis mango. Does more nitrogen = more fiber or vice versa? Thanks!
I went by Alex's- place and bought a few bags of mangos this past week-- and there fantastic--juicy and sweet-- - its wonderful to wake up every morning and eat 4-5 of them !!YES

Does Carabao usually produce this early? Is it a different variety within the Philippines mango? I saw a Philippine tag today that said June-July. Having the Rosigold (at least 2 weeks till ripe) and looking to add another super early.

One tree had a significant March/April crop though.Rosa is a more consistent spring mango. Edward and Dwarf Hawaiian also.
Come on people where are your mangos
I had high hopes for my Pickering this year. First year flowering, (year three in ground from 3 gal pot), about 6' x 6'. In January it sent up pannicles on every branch. She was loaded for a while. . .and then she started dropping fruit and hasn't stopped. Still some fruit left and I assume several will remain, but man, what a tease. My Cogshall had about a 50% bloom this year, starting in late January. Most fruits are holding on.
Found the First ripe Rosa today:
