Clubfoot Pickering fruit drop
« on: April 17, 2018, 10:13:51 AM »
My little Pickering has never done this but this season its immature  fruit are all turning yellow and dropping off like an immature tree would. It is in the ground 6 years. Any ideas?

Otherwise its very healthy.

Pickering does drop a lot of fruits because it produces so many. Mine  has been dropping a lot of fruits too. The fruit drop was at its peak, because it was hot and dry for a prolonged period. It is better since it rained twice over the past few days.

Angie has also been doing the same thing in my yard. The honey kiss that is grafted on to it is holding on to its fruits much better.

anyone mind take a pic or 2 of your pickering trees?  I bought one last year online and they just started fruiting this year but nothing dropped, I just want to verify if mine is indeed a pickering.
