Sugar Apple and Geffner Atemoya seeds for trade
« on: August 10, 2013, 06:10:10 PM »
I have green and red sugar apples and a geffner atemoya.   I will be offering seeds up for trade for jackfruit seeds, mango scions, or anything else interesting.  If you have dealt with me in the past and want some seeds but have nothing to offer, just let me know and I will send you some.

Pic of the fruit prior to seed harvest aka me eating a pile of sugar apples and giving myself diabetes.

These are almost all shared out.  Anyone interested in the last of them?

George, I have to say that your Geffner looks more like an El Bumpo Cherimoya than an Atemoya. Maybe you have a fruiting cherimoya in Florida without knowing it! :)

Care to ship some fruit up my way? :D I'm dying to try an Annona.

Illia,

These are too ripe but if I get some more I will send you a couple.

Thanks,
George

That would be most amazing! :) I was half-joking as I figured just about any Annona wouldn't make it through shipment, but then again, I've seen sub-quality Sugarapples and Cherimoyas shipped to asian markets. Out of curiosity what varieties do you have?

JF, nice EB cherimoya fruits. I suppose you didn't hand pollinate them?

Thanks Thera. I did not hand pollinate the cherimoyas trees exept for the 4 or 5 hydrids that have set fruits however i pollinated my two atemoya trees everydayfor a full month. In a few weeks I'll post pics of my two cherimoya trees with 10 fruiting varieties.
