as far as i know the taste from seed is not the same with the parent plant and most times a lot worse. It is far easier taking cuttings, they root within a week for me

Thanks a lot. I would plant cuttings but my friend only has a plant that produces cream colored fruit with no purple stripes, not very appealing to the eye as the ones with the purple stripes.
