So this Mamey sapote tree is roughly 4 or 5 years old. The bottom growth started in the last year. And the branching is newer. But.....I'm wondering if it's growing right? Contemplating removing it for a Soursop that I recently got. Any and all opinions are appreciated!
Hi all. Recently, I've been getting papayas, from more then one of my trees, that, when I cut it open, has mold on the inside. These are papayas that look ok on the outside. And it's always near the stem side. This is a first for me. Anybody have an ideas what causes it?
So I have a Sapodilla tree that's about 2years old. It had a growth spurt last fall. It was staked. After the growth flush it kept falling over, so we put up for stakes and tied it. Then it started pumping out little fruits like a pez dispenser! So there's about 50 growing now. Question is; can it hurt the tree to let them get big? And in an unrelated question; sheet mulch beds for planting fruit trees. Good or bad idea in the sub-tropics?
