Ichang papeda (EU only)
« on: June 18, 2019, 07:58:57 AM »
I have 2 rooted Ichang papeda for sale only to EU.
10 € each + shipping.
The origin of the plant is northern Thailand/Laos. Very hardy,  but I didn't test it to sub zero C temperatures.

The costume in Europe is to give or share not to sale. I thought Roumania was in Europe. ;)

It is not very clever to import plants from Thailand, even seeds. Especially when you can find them free of disease anywhere in Europe.
Furthermore it is forbidden...

WOW you preach on me!
I don't know anyone who sends me those plants for free. Why didn't you send me fro free when I asked?
Or others when they ask about Yuzu? I put 10€ per plant and that does not even cover the gasoline to go to post office. And you tell me why I ask money. Like I asked 50€ per plant. Nice joke.
I brought this plant many years ago when Romania was not in EU and it was allowed to import any plant back then.
You as a French have the right to go to Papua New Guinea and for you is clever to import the citrus but not for me?
I guess in your opinion France has more rights than Romania.

Sorry if I got you angry.
I don't want to fight but I shall answer few points.

> Why didn't you send me fro free when I asked?
Because until few days ago I didn't read the "Citrus Buy, Sell, & Trade" part. I can explain why if you ask.

> Or others when they ask about Yuzu?
I sent yuzu seeds (always for free) to anyone who asked on the french forum ( they were not all French) and at the end I have thrown about 1 kg of seeds on the compost pile...

> I brought this plant many years ago when Romania was not in EU
The ones on the picture don't look so old. ;-)

> You as a French have the right to go to Papua New Guinea and for you is clever to import the citrus but not for me?
First I verified that there are no disease in PNG. There is an exception of few square miles at the most northern village, at the border of occupied New Guinea, but I kept away of that place.
And must I remind you that in 2014 it was allowed?  in 2015 it was not anymore.
I don't travel "as French" but as a human.

> I guess in your opinion France has more rights than Romania.
I don't see what makes you think so. At the opposite I reminded you that Romania is in Europe.  :)

I am not angry and I'm not going to get in to an argument with you. Just keep politics out of discussion.
Maybe you try not to make assumptions and read better. Like it's stated above this is a rooted cutting and of course it looks young, because I root the new flush growth which is most likely free of disease or insects.
