Kinzu (Hong Kong) Kumquat Coming to flower

A very impressive citrus, after only 1.5 years (under not so great conditions) from seed comes flowers. I heard this was true about this cultivar, just amazed to see it myself.

Franklazar,  was the kumquat grown from seed?   If so how long was the time from planting to flowering?

Very nice!  I bought two hong kong kumquats over the years and the always declined and died, never understood why.

Yes it was. I got the seeds and planted them February of last year, so roughly 1.5 years.
