i have grafted quince to loquat and grafted winter banana apple to the quince and just budded a hood pear in between on the quince, so far this is all doing well tho not much chance of the apple ever fruiting here as it is to high chill, i can always graft or bud a low chill variety to it to get fruit, But i would like to find other varieties that i can graft directly to the quince. it seems odd to me that the winter banana apple is the only apple that can be grafted to quince, but so far that is what my research has shown me, this coming from the www!                        Patrick

Hmm, maybe you can use that apple variety as interstock and then graft other apple varieties on top.
Hi Barath, yes that is what i am doing now but it would be nice to save one step.

I checked the clonex brand 0.31% I.B.A. i found another brand 0.54% I.B.A so am going to try it on Macadamia air layers have 5 trees that need pruning so will try this first , i still seems odd to me that a mix that is good/ready to use on tomato/weed plants is just as good on hardwood trees. only time will tell.         Patrick
