Delish and near ripe. Small sproutable seeds. Ate one yesterday with a hamburger. Will eat another today.

You have to be careful with the Mexican Hass avocados that sell so cheaply at Aldis.  Sometimes they've been under-ripe, have little oil content, and turn black inside when soft.  I can't tell you how many times I've had to bring them back!

I know what you mean. I have gotten ones like that, turned black and inedible inside before ever got a bit soft.
But this current crop has over produced so is going for 39 cents each. Looks to me like it is the end of a particular harvest season so the growers are hustling them out to market before they rot on the trees.

These ones are good...ripen properly in a day or two.....are  not duds. I have had more oily Hass but these are good and are not water-cados.  Though Aldi has those prolly from Dominican Republic. I see them at Walmart too. $1.50 at both places.

But at 39 cents it's worth a shot!  I'll go there today.

You should see a good range of Hass, from ready to eat tomorrow to ready in three days.
