Where can I find good Maprang or Mayongchid in Florida?
I don't see anyone offering a Mayongchid.
Is the Mayongchid sweeter and larger than the Maprang.

Don't think you can find it in Florida. Not grown there, also not imported there. I have them growing here in Hawaii. Got a good harvest this year, but don't sell the fruits. Eat them all myself  and sell the seeds.
Mayong chid is a type of maprang. I have 3 types. Mayong Chid is sweet-sour. Have a type called Kai that is sweet, with a little bit of sour. Also have a seedling tree that is totally sweet.

Top is Mayong Chid and bottom is seedling type.

Maprang is possible in Florida I have two one month old seedlings from locally grown fruit here in Bokeelia SW Florida.

About 8 years. But not dependable from seed. Some seedlings fruit and others don't. I have one seedling tree produced 2 fruits after 20 years. The other is about 8 years old and good producer. Better to have grafted trees if at all possible.

Is there any flavour difference in Mayongchid and Wan except for sweetness?
