Thanks for all the tips. My ST scion on corriente seedling is flushing, I am stoked
I used a simple v-graft tool from amazon to cut both scion and rootstock. Also buddy tape from behl’s group buy and cheap plastic greenhouse for those below 50F nights helped. Next project is veneer grafting.

Just wanted to update my grafting attempts. ST graft on corriente, grafted on 4/16, flushing nicely in less than 30 days. I left some rootstock branches to graft other varieties. To all newbies like me at grafting, don't afraid to graft, it is not as difficult as it seems
