Hi, I will be trimming my Annona Reticulata  trees, on 5/27/14...5/28/14, I will sell 6+ Scions for grafting for $ 12.25 US Dollars, and free shipping, in the US, only. The scions will be about ( 7 ) inches long, and 5/16 to 7/16th of an inch thick. Shipping will take  2 Days to arrive via USPS.
I you successfully graft a single tree, using  these Annonas  scions, you will have a tree capable of producing one of the best Annona  fruit,  that you will ever eat. These fruits are a World class fruit.

I have driven to the, Post Office closest to the  Airport to ship several, free scion boxes, to members of this Forum.

But I keep getting request for scions, so I decide to put them up for sale. At some  point I may lose these trees here in West Central Florida to a Hard freeze, and I believe that this Annona are worth, preserving in other places.
I also have, fresh  seeds left from fruits harvested on 5/15/14 , for  sale in this forum.
$ 10+ for $ 7.00 free shipping, No International orders, too expensive . Payment through Paypal and to my email==PM me for email

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Germinating Annona seeds, the easy way
« on: May 22, 2014, 09:23:11 AM »
Hi you all here is my answer to some of the emails  I'm getting ,as to how I germinate my seeds.
I do have a germinating rig with shop lights and shelves, capable of holding several trays. But my simple way is the one I'm going to show. My wife don't care for it, but hey, that's the way it is, is my TV. watching  room , and I am  the one, that has got to look at it, I germinate, a few hundreds of seeds a year, and the  tray is the simplest way that I have found to germinate. I have germinate Annonas in 7 days this way, much faster than outdoors.
The first pic. is a very heavy aluminum pan, on top of the cable box, which generates around 75/90 degrees, free of charge, even if  the box is on or not ,the heat is there.
Second pic. is of some Annonas Ret. I just put in the tray, I will, post pics. to show how long they take to germinate, under these conditions.

In reference to a question Thao asked, on the buy/sell, today.
I wonder what is the best way to ship plants? Is there a only way to ship them? or several ways it can be done. Soil, or bare root, wrapped in moss? How to safely secure the plants, in shipping boxes? How to keep the plants hydrated? To Trim the plants before shipping? or not!

Come on I'm asking all of the experts, to offer some of your  ways and Ideals, as to how too, is the best, or only way. If you have had a plant, shipped  and you thought is was awesome how they got it to you, please let us know how it was done POST PICTURES IF YOU HAVE THEM.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Custard Apples Reticulatas,Comparison
« on: March 23, 2014, 03:25:23 PM »
In reference to the pictures that I posted the other day about my white flesh Reticulatas, I'm going to post, 3 pic. of the ones that I grow, and the fruit, I got  from Homestead Florida. The last picture is from the Homestead fruit , I really do not know what type of Reticulata, it  is, could be a san Pablo, or Fernandez, whatever it is! all I can tell you is that it is terrible ,by looking at the pic. you can see 1/4' inch + of grit, on the skin, barely no taste, and not enough flesh, in no way can this fruit  compare with my white flesh

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Custard Apples in Tampa
« on: March 21, 2014, 11:28:47 AM »
Hi there , I used to call these Cherimoyas too, until I was corrected, but anyhow here is some pics. of my Annona Reticulata, which I do not know what  type it is. I'm also going to post a Pic. from one I got yesterday from Homestead Miami. One thing I can tell you from growing them in Tampa for 14 + yrs. is that they are not good producers, unless, you hand pollinate them.
