Looking for a source of mesh bags to protect the fruit on my fig trees.

And be sure not to buy the brightly colored ones for gifts, they're silly expensive :-)

I've found them at a reasonable price on the internet, but they don't deter the squirrels, who scratch right through them.  Maybe they stop the birds from pecking.

A you tuber recommend buying Fiberglas window screen and cutting it in squares.

They don't provide absolute protection against rodents. Birds they work really well on.
My grape cluster got chewed on through the bag. Only some berried were eaten, so there's still partial effectiveness. Last year, all the berries from all clusters were gone in a single night.
