How is the Wampee?  I have a small seedling.  Did you grow from seed?  How long did it take to flower?

Your trees look healthy. Do you get any fruits from your seedling tree citrus yet ? If you do, are they any good?

Both the tangerine and wampee are from seeds.

I had tangerine fruit last year.  It took about 5 years before it started get fruit.  The citrus flavors not a strong yet, but taste good.

Wampee tree start flowering this year.  About 5 ~6 years before flowering.  Same time frame like the tangerine.

Certainly appears to be in fabaceae.

I'm really curious as to the plant.

Thanks.  How does the wampee taste?  Worth growing?

I have more seedlings than I can realistically grow to maturity so once I see what survives I'll consider which are actually worth it for the long term.

Wampee, lychee and longan are the most popular fruit tree where I grew up.  Wampee is one of the rarest one.  My family love it.
The peel is eatable and taste like Licorice甘草, so refreshing.
Inside taste like citrus jello.  The fruit can dehydrated as sneak too.
It totally worth the time to grow it.
