Hi!
The seeds come from several places. The ones we got today, the Theobroma and others available right now, came from Suriname and have been in transit for 2 days.
As the seeds are still in the fruits, they can be kept viable for a longer period.
When sent out from our storage, we pack them in humid moss to prevent them from drying out.
Even the most shortly viable seeds arrive healthy this way. Some seeds will have started to germinate already before shipping or will do in transit.
We don’t have Inga edulis and artocarpus seeds anymore right now. We expect to get some soon from Borneo and India. Seeds that we don’t have right now, can be ordered already. This allows us to ship the seeds as fresh as possible. Sometimes it can take a while however before we receive the desired species. Customers will be kept up to date on the status of their ordered seeds during this time.
