I have seen this fruit tree in a couple of nurseries. Wanted to do a short review on it and possibly answer any questions.

UTADO One tree is growing at South Coast Research Station, Irvine, CA. field 46, row 57, tree #16. (J.R.Frink 1998) Origin, Puerto Rico; Race, GxWI; Flowering group, B (Lahav & Gazit)

Apparently the tree is found here in CA at the S. Coast Research Station, slightly different spelling.

Utuado is a city in Puerto Rico where the cultivar was first identified.
