Annona purpurea

Amigo, I can help you out with this one. I don't think seeds are avaible right now, but I could send you budwood, which you could try to graft in chirimoya ;) A guy in Tenerife grafted it in A. glabra...

BTW, seeds take veeeery long to germinate!

Hola Felipe,
That would be freak'n awesome...Thanks so much, Amigo :) Grafting soncoya, will definitely drop a few years waiting for the tree to produce from seed 8) Ilama and Cherimoya are compatible...So Soncoya and Cherimoya shouldn't be a problem, hopefully 8)

I didn't know they took very long to germinate :o

As i recall the soncoya seeds i got from Luc germinated very fast. Maybe Felipe is getting confused with ilama which goes dormant and can take very long to germinate?

I have to agree with Felipe. I got some seeds from someone a probably 3-4 months ago and I still havent seen any germination.

I have 4 large trees of Nephelium hypoleucum (korlan) but they haven't fruited yet. I have seeds of Bouea macrophylla usually in March.

Felipe never gets confused!  8)   ;D

Seriously, I ment the fresh seeds from the same fruit on the picture, under apparently ideal conditions (or do they need some kind of stress to germinate?!). I think the seeds took about 6 month to germinate..  :o

Hi Oscar,
Some Annona(muricata and squamosa) seeds took long to germinate for me. I should invest in a heating pad for seeds, to increase the temperature for the seeds to germinate fast. Annona diversifolia, hasn't germinated yet, and the seeds are healthy. I have no problems with Rollinia deliciosa, Annona cherimola or A. cherimola x squamosa...they ain't finicky  :)

Hi Luc,
WOW, thanks so much. :) Cambuci and Achachairú is actually in the works. Though, If i'm unable to get Soncoya to take, or get seeds of Cambuci. I will definitely buy them seeds from you :)
