My lecture tonight: Making Annona Hybrids
« on: May 10, 2019, 02:36:41 PM »
My lecture tonight:  "Making Annona Hybrids", will be at the Mounts Auditorium, 7:30 PM meeting of the Palm Beach Chapter of the Rare Fruit Council, with lots of beautiful slides.

The frustrating part is that almost all of the hybrids pictured, no longer exist!

See the info in the old thread that I just bumped up: "hungry for more info...on Annona hybrids."

I wish I could be there as I’m really interested in Annona Hybrids. I feel that we are in our infancy in regards to Annona Hybrids here in SoCal. There is much room for growth not just in SoCal but in the entire USA. People are just starting to learn about Cherimoyas and few people have tasted Hybrids such as Leo’s Hybrid #3 which is a cross between an African Pride and a Cherimoya.

Thanks for posting, Har & thanks for reposting that earlier thread.  I second Seanny's idea, it would be great if someone could video it & upload to Youtube for those of us who can't be there.

Holy crap Har. Hopefully we can get you to do this talk at the Manatee club. I don't book the speakers anymore but let me know if you are interested. I'll pass it on. I'm not on Facebook anymore but still have the messenger app. - Josh Starry in Sarasota.

Why do they no longer exist?
