Carambola Problem

For my first foray into tropical fruit,  I decided to try Bell Carambola.  Things were going well until:



I'm thinking it's some kind of nutrient deficiency, but to be honest I know much less than I let on!  I tried treating it with a complete foliar spray but to no avail. 

Any ideas?  These things taste too good to waste...

It woud help if you showed the whole tree. Most leaves look good is this just one branch with the veining?
Is it potted, what soil is it growing in, what area? Any deficiencies in other trees, plants, etc? What do the Ixora plants look like in your area?

The whole tree looks pretty much the same, I'll grab a photo this evening.  It's pretty much all over, although there is more on the south facing side.

It is in the ground (about 18mos now), in the sandy stuff we have in south florida.  All other plants looks pretty normal including the Ixora although I did notice similar yellowing on my older peppers (>6 mos).

My carambola experienced the similar issue. I treated it as iron deficiency and added iron as a foilar spray and around the base of the plant. Tree showed signs of improvement prett fast and is now doing very well. Good luck!

Carambola is sensitive to iron deficiency.
This one is available in Florida, even at Lowes/Home Depot.
