Should one do this to mango scions? Clip the leaves off before sending by priority mail?

I think you should cut the scion, remove the leaves for not exhausted the scion and wrapped with parafilm tape the scion, for that they not dries out, just before sending it by priority mail (it can withstand 8-9 days in this manner).
