We had about 1/3 of avocado scions this year compared to last year, here in OC scion exchange.

Julie is hard to get a hold of via email.  If you post what you want maybe someone here has some for you.

Really?! I saw Ben C. at the OC exchange. I would've thought he'd taken some of the leftovers. I took about 10 varieties from there.

No. There is no formal mechanism for ordering. She is a volunteer hobbyist (I believe) at the uc avocado field and so has access to all sorts of neat things but she does it as a volunteer I believe.

She is a little hard to get a hold of. She is however very nice and very pleasant but also very busy as everyone from the area including the la and San Diego regions request scions from her. It was raining the week of our exchange so I'm pretty sure she didn't have as much time to harvest.

Some members have helped me out and I'm happy to help out as well. Some of my trees aren't too big. Patrick-i will harvest this weekend and mail to you and I was out of town last week and the weekend and am working all week until the weekend.

I've been waiting for people to offer avocado scions on here myself, looking for Sir Prize and Reed. I assume it will be soon but, man, I'm getting that urge to graft/garden already haha.
