Title: Bad news
Post by: Bomand on May 15, 2019, 09:08:08 PM
I had to have some help grafting this year. I hired a highly recommended fellow. He grafted a 50 foot row of in ground poncirus. In looking at the buds and the absence of new growth, it appears that he used blind buds. The budwork is good. Buds are green and they took. Any way to save this row? Besides...if you want a job done well...do it yourself.

Regraft, a blind bud will do nothing.

You are so right. Rebudded this am. Bark still slipping good. Hard work budding in ground rootstock. I have a little cart that has my tools in it....rolls along thd row...but still hard.
