Title: Another Inga ID
Post by: New_Jungle on September 07, 2019, 10:05:17 PM
Hey all! Was wondering what species inga this is? Looks like the last one on Weird Fruit Explorer’s taste test. My old boss said he’d give me some pods from his tree and that it was sweeter then others that he has tried. I expected him to bring feuillei or spectabilis as that seems to be the most common here, but he brought me these. He didn’t know the name as he told me it was an old type that was just called Inga when he got it decades ago. Any ideas?

I also got somme seeds from Costa Rica where there ate more than 60 different species of Inga grow.I dont know what specie i have and not even the seller knew.
If its edible, grow it,eat it.Dont eat the seeds thogh without getting well informed about how edible they are.
