Nice, I believe Har or Chris From Truly Tropical showed or talked about that trick. I believe it’s certain varieties that it works for.

And then what? Is the skin peeled down like a banana?
It seems the classic spooned cheek-bowl approach would be more ergonomic. I've also started getting accustomed to watermelon slicing, from all those tasting vids, for the full spectrum taste experience.
