Big time rain event is predicted to really kick off come late fall.....just in time for the opening of my choose-n-cut Christmas tree biz.  ::)

Yes, Mark, I read in my local paper thismorning that this could even be
a record El Nino for El Nino's.....now I need to climb up on my roof and make sure
it's sealed and solid!

I hope California and Texas get soaked by the El Nino effect this winter and all your reservoirs get filled to capacity. California farmers are really hurting with fields and orchards drying up. I also blame the phony preservation of the "endangered" Delta smelt for depriving California farmers of their irrigation waters

It will take more than one "Godzilla" El Nino to fill California reservoirs to capacity.

Farming in "dry" California is a business. In business there are no guarantees of success. Extended droughts are common in California history.
