« on: May 01, 2015, 10:05:48 PM »
Hello

Common Name: Tangsat, Lantupak, some info here :http://organicfarm.net/fruitnursery_pg4.htm and here http://tropical.theferns.info/viewtropical.php?id=Aglaia+odoratissima

Looks like fragrant flowers, good edible fruit and medical use. Did someone here already eat this fruit ,how does it taste .where could It be found .Perhaps our friends from Malaysia,Indonesia and Borneo know about this one.

Also Langsatan would be nice to know more about them

Well, you may find other posts on the fruit, it's been in previous threads, but I will share with you what Sadhu, the owner of organicfarm has told me. The aglaia odoratissima has subpar fruit that doesn't compare with a lychee or rambutan. The agalia edulis has good fruit similar to the flavor of lansium domesticum, but more acidic. It's a large tree with small fruit. I would suggest you contact Sadhu to talk to him about it more. He's a knowledgeable guy, and friendly, if you tell him you want more information.

Hi tropicalist,I'll do. I like to plant edible fruits or fragrant plants/tree among others.
I will contact him to get more info, and ask him if he could sell some seeds.
