looking for a green sapote

Do any of you know were I can find a green sapote? I'm looking to plant it at Grimal grove.

Lara's should have some.  I spoke with Julian not that long ago and he had some 1 gal and 7 gal.  Not sure if he had any 3 gal.  If they are out, i can get you one but it would be up here in Palm Beach County.

how about from seed,?  from my experence they produce much faster from seed IF seed is planted directly in the ground and the tap root allowed to grow unhindered      Patrick

Huh????  Some have become infatuated about having a tree form a "deep tap root".  I would not recommend planting a seed in the ground.  They dont come true to seed either.

No chance for a deep tap root any way. Bigger trees are better for the grove because of the deer and iguanas. Thanks for the replies and pointers.
