Kwai Muk Fresh Seeds Artocarpus hypargyreus
« on: October 18, 2018, 10:47:44 PM »
Kwai Muk is back in season. Fruit are from the same tree as previous years. I love these things.

$12 for 10 seeds shipped in padded envelope with tracking. Additional seeds are $.75 each. USA shipping only.

Seeds will be cleaned and in a ziplock with vermiculite. This fruit is very tasty and should be much more common. It reminds me of citrusy sweet/tart figs. Hardy to mid 20s.

Message me you are interested and I will give you my paypal address. Thanks! - Josh

Hi Buddy. I wish I could be California is ultra strict about shipping fruit. I don't want to deal with that.

Josh,

Can you please describe the taste of your particular Kwai Muk fruit?
Tangy from 1 to 5?
Sweet from 1 to 5?
Fibrous from 1 to 5?
Overall taste quality?

Appreciate it!

Not really fibrous. They are somewhat seedy and very juicy. The fully ripe fruit only has a slight tanginess to it but overall they have a nice sweet tart balance. I have had Kwai Muk from 4 different trees and this one is my favorite. That being said, this is also the tree I have eaten the most fruit from.

Thank you for a great description. I have a young Kwai Muk growing from seed, might ask you to sell a scion next year to graft it. :)

Sorry, too much hassle with paperwork and time in the post office. I have seen Kwai Muk trees in Costa Rica. Maybe you can talk to some collectors down there. Good luck!

Good luck! I feel like this tree will thrive in your climate. They are slow to get going then take off.

Thx you received the seeds.
