ID this Mystery Citrus fruit
« on: September 15, 2020, 07:27:57 PM »
Thought it would be fun to show you my interesting fruit.
Guess what it is, if you're correct I will let you know.

It has 12 bulges, but it is one fruit. Will be interesting to see where the seeds will be (if any).

Could be just citrus mite infestation during flowering
Best regards,

I think a citrange. I have a Morton citrange which often produces fruits a bit like this one.

Is it a Finger Lime crossed with a Buddha's Hand Citron that was grown inside a baseball glove ?

jaboticaba45, not a lime.

pagnr, that's a good one, it does look like that.

I hope it tastes ok when it ripens. These fruits will not be ready until Dec-Feb.

Here's what the mystery fruit looks like now.
I will wait until Jan-Feb to pick it. I wonder if there will be any flesh inside to eat.
