thanks everyone, the doctors advised me to euthanize the dog, and said that surgery would have been unsuccessful...being that the tumor was so advanced, and on his femur, close to the hip.

it was a horrible outcome...but i'm glad it's over...It has been stressing me out for at least 4 months...progressively getting harder to deal with, up until 8am this morning, when he passed away in my arms  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

will be back to work soon...have lots of emails to answer, and requests to fill...

Sad to hear Adam, its tough losing a family dog or pet. Luckily you have a forest of fruiting plants to help relax your mind.
Grow mainly fruits, vegetables, and herbs.

Plant a nice big Jabo in memory of him! He is the one who ate the fruit off the trunk isn't he? Will always remind you of him then. Sad to hear he is gone.

My condolences, Adam.

Losing a pet is so tough.
And it can remind us of other losses.

Hang in there.

Sorry to hear, your dog passed away. It shouldn't be easy for you.
Don's idea seems nice; this way you will always remember him each time you look at the tree.

Geeez Adam, you really know how to make a grown man cry. :'( :( :'( Nothing sadder than losing man's best friend. Been in similar situation long ago. Consider getting another dog once you feel a little better.

Ditto all the sentiments here.  :'(  Can relate, had to put down our sweet (rescue) girl, Freeway, due to a tumor on her colon. Cried for days.

A new friend is in order, all in due time, and many are out there in shelters or roaming the streets waiting to love and be loved. Seems that rescue dogs make the best friends - they appreciate that warm bed, a meal and playing ball or going for walks.  Took me 2 years to get over the last loss, didn't want the pain of another loss, but here's a very happy heeler we saved that was scheduled to be put down because she chased a farm lady's chickens.  :(

Patty's happy hour:

Best,
Mark

to all who posted, thanks so much for the condolences!  This group is wonderful!

I'm getting caught up with my work now!  Still behind...but starting to send out orders again...

Good news!  I should have my website updated very soon, and also will have some help answering emails, and filling orders.

I will post an update once the new webpage goes live.  :)
