Title: Purple possum passion fruit cuttings for sale
Post by: beicadad on January 13, 2021, 05:07:06 PM
$2 per cutting with at least 3 nodes each. 4 cuttings minimum, $8 flat shipping. Please PM.

Purple possum are medium sized, a bit smaller than red rover. Less tartness compared to red rover and Fredrick. I prefer PP over Fredrick or red rover but it’s probably because my vines are grown in coastal area without lots of heat.

Hi beicacad;
can I  ask a few questions about Purple possum.

Does it have any Maypop in it's parentage?

Are they "Root Hardy"  /  Can they come back after snow or weeks of freezing weather?

How does Purple Possum compare to other strains of Passiflora when winter gets icy?

We have frost here, in S.Oregon, for about two months most winters.  But where I'm at near Jackson the ground seldom freezes below the very surface.

Do you know of any improved strains of "Maypop" aka;  P.Incarnata?
