yes, but I hear fruits are bland and not too good of quality if they mature during low temps... :(

It depends who you ask. My choc anon bears from November to January at my house.  I have found the fruits to be of very sweet. There are apparently many other forum members who don't like the choc anon, but at my location it fruits in the winter and I like the fruit.

I suppose of there were no other freash, local mangoes around in November/December (and the mango burnout has passed), that a Choc Anon MIGHT seem good...however, based on a Choc Anon from the summer I have my doubts...

I'm in Melbourne Beach, FL.  I take the summer crop off when they are small and it blooms again in the summer for the winter crop.  I have plenty of summer ripening  varieties so I don't miss the fruit that I take off. I haven't had any mangoes for a couple of months by the time the choc anon start to ripen so they taste good to me.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad it works for you. I'm in Vero Beach and have thought it would be nice to try for winter mangos. I wonder why the folks in South Florida haven't had the same success as you. Maybe they aren't pulling the young summer fruit off?
