Bad durian season this year, too much rain.
Only a few fruit which survive in the tree.
The other tree entirely unfruitful.

Durian season just started few days ago in Sri Lanka. All of a sudden they are everywhere now. Last year durian season was almost over at this time. Also last year we had unusual 3 durian seasons in one year, instead of 1 or 2 usually. Seems like unpredictability is the new norm in tropics. Everybody is reporting unusual patterns from around the world.

The season has started here also and will last 3 months. Excess rain has been a problem in recent years but not this season.

Here the rain began to fall 1 month ago,and at the start of flowering durian.
Many flowers fell,so not much fruit that survives, and this time the wind also started blowing hard.
The rain also affects other fruit.
