Why are you germinating when you can graft onto cherimoya? You'll have fruits in two years. Do a forum search and you'll see plenty of information

Store dry, at warm room temperature, such as in the garage, for 8-12 months, then plant at start of rainy season (or after a two-day soak), where soil will be very warm.

Seeds planted fresh rot!

Ilama seedlings are good rootstock for ilama grafts.

Ungrafted ilama seedlings can take more than ten years to fruit.

I had success with a paper wet paper towel and GA for 24-48 hr. then planted in pots as usual in the spring time. Best of luck.

I have tried 5 varieties and over 100 seeds in all sorts of ways. I have tried GA3 at various concentrations for different lengths of time, chilled them, stored them first and planted them straight away. I even scraped a few on concrete until I got through the seed coat.GA3 at 600ppm for 12 hours works but etoliation takes its toll but some come good. Planting them fresh works almost as well and don't try anything else except scraping the seed coat until it is almost through. My red genova produced a flower in 2015 and a few in 2016 after being a seed in early 2013.Others who I gave seedlings to also report flowering in the 3rd year from all varieties as the earliest flowering.
Seeds pop up after a few months and here when temps ranged from say 33c max down to say 26c min at night with rain and absolute humidity. Interestingly some seeds that didn't germinate did a year later with the arrival of the next monsoon season.
My conclusion is, just plant them, keep them warm and moist and wait. The biggest problem is the cotyledons are often trapped in the seed and you need to break it off without killing the seedling.

Do seeds planted in the winter later sprout in the spring ?
