Where can I buy cherimoya fruit online that will ship to Florida? If I could get Pierce cherimoya that would be ideal.

I am giving away one $20 gift certificate to anyone on the forum who has never been to Tropical Acres Farms before. The gift certificate is good only for local pickup of the mangos not for shipping. It also expires this mango season so you will need to use it very soon as mango season is almost over.

Post here and I will select a winner on Wednesday.

Edit: I just spoke to the owner of Tropical Acres Farms, forum user Squam256, and he told me that they are currently only open by appointment only on weekday afternoons.

I haven't used my refractometer since 2012 or 2013 so I figured I'd sell it. I bought it in 2012. Here is the Amazon link for it: https://www.amazon.com/Hanna-Instruments-Digital-Refractometer-Analysis/dp/B002NX0WHI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1528643356&sr=8-3&keywords=hanna+instruments+refractometer&dpID=41ym8V%252BdS9L&preST=_SX342_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

I'll sell it for $110 including shipping to anywhere in the US. I still have the original box and manual.

Here is a link to a post that I used it in: http://tropicalfruitforum.com/index.php?topic=457.0

Edit: SOLD

I am considering selling the lychee fruit from my tree and shipping it via Priority Mail but I am not sure of the best way to package the fruit to ensure they survive the shipping. I was thinking about putting them in a plastic bag first but I think being in a sealed bag would ruin the fruit in the heat.

If the box even gets slightly squished in transit, it would probably crack all of the fruit.

I have about 100lbs of Mauritius still on my tree that I would like to sell this week, ship by tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

What is the best cultivar of taro/dasheen for its leaves?

There are a lot of cultivars available in Hawaii so I figured someone might know which one has the best leaves for cooking.

If anyone has fresh young coconuts (for coconut water) in Palm Beach County and are willing to sell them please let me know. I am willing to pay $1 per coconut. Thanks!

I am selling all three grafted mango trees together for $60. I don't want to sell them individually.

Local pickup only.  Palm Beach County, Florida.

Anyone know where I can buy a giant tropical fruit painting for my office? I was at another forum member's house last week and I saw he had a giant mango painting that looked pretty cool.

I've tried searching online, but I haven't found anything.

Any forum members in Bali or near Bali and are able to ship me a few Hindu wood carvings? I am specifically looking for ones carved out of fruit tree wood, but I will settle for other wood as well.

I noticed there were a few posts that the prices were not listed. All posts now require the price of each item or your post will be deleted.

I saw that Truly Tropical is giving away a free t-shirt to their first 100 youtube subscribers. You have to pick the t-shirt up at their farm though.

They didn't link the youtube channel in the post, but I think this is it: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCObjyZOcrbSLRrO2sEsoKOA?&ab_channel=TrulyTropical

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Bark Grafting Mango
« on: April 07, 2017, 08:40:23 PM »
Anyone have any success bark grafting mangos? I was considering cutting back one of my larger trees and grafting into the stump directly but I'm not sure of the best method. I tried it once before but was unsuccessful.

Here is a video with one method that I found:

Tropical Fruit Buy, Sell & Trade / Wanted: Amrapali mango budwood

Since there most vegetables and herbs have such a wide variety of local names, please put the scientific name in every post title.

I have some family coming into town this weekend and I'm looking to buy some fruit if anyone has anything available.

I've already been able to get sapodilla & custard apple. I'm looking for anything else that may be available.

I have a grafted Australian atemoya (One of the new varieties, not sure which one because I mixed up the budwood) tree in a 3g container to trade. It's about 18" tall. I also multigrafted a Vietnamese atemoya onto it, not sure yet if that graft has taken though.

I am looking for a nice decent sized 3 gallon atemoya of any variety. The reason I'm looking to trade is that I told a friend I would get them an atemoya tree, but I don't know how well they would actually take care of the atemoya so I don't want to risk the grafted Australian atemoya tree.

I think I may have mixed up the tags for two of my grafts. My Pineapple Pleasure is not exactly looking like Pineapple pleasure and it may be Sweet Tart. I would appreciate it if someone could please post some pics of the immature fruit of both of those varieties. Thanks!
