Few years ago I got fresh seeds from Brasil. Very good germination rate, nice plants, but only 1 year. Then they decline to grow for unknown reason and subsequently die. The same as the ishipingo (Ocotea quixos). From my experience very difficult to grow in pot culture or outside equatorial climate. :(

In what months does this plant set seed?

I got them at the end of september. And here are the plants as were the next year at may.
